Check out the finals schedule on the calendar their have been a couple of adjustments.

Underbelly remained unbeaten but must be far from happy as they had enough rub of the green to win 14-2 but only ended up scrapping in 9-7. Good win for them but certainly Cellar Dwellers came out of it with all the positives.

Close scores at each quarter but Underbelly tightened up a bit and should have been in front 7-1 at the halfway mark but my boys fought hard to turn several games around and go in at 4all, then it was 6all but we couldn't get the early win to force a result. The scores have Bob Khalu not there but he won 3 from will have Irene adjust the scores. Steve was our best with 3, for underbelly Bob, Trent and Mr Bean were their best.
Underbelly 9 Cellar Dwellers 7.

Rhythm and Cues took on X Men and Vikki was right on Cue with a great treble with Jeff Peter grabbing  a double. It was close early 2all 4all but with Terry back to his best with 4 from 4 X Men were a tad strong over the last half. X Men say =2nd and still with a hope of being minor premiers.
X Men 10 Rhythm & Cues 6

Norfolk N Way didn't have a super sub against Lindrum but still got the money with a 3 man team. Mark Morrisom was far and away the best with 4 from 4 while Lindrum could't put any real pressure on them. Dennis Watt had a chance to grab a draw but couldn't finish it and with Super eights snapping at their heels for 8th spot are looking vulnerable.
Norfolk N Way 9 Lindrum 7.

Lukes Skywalkers played like superstars against the hapless Assassins with Annie, Richard Bonnelley and Luke all grabbing 4 from 4. The Assassins battled hard but from 2-3 early on couldn't close out a frame.
Skywalkers 13 Assassins 3.

When Dean McDonald has an ordinary night (2 from 4) for Dangerous D's they struggle a bit and they had to pull out a couple of big gmes at the end to pull a draw and a valuable point. The inlaws Jack and Wayne put together 5 from 8 and nearly pulled off a big win for Evolution, Peter Hooker was way bes for the D's and got his first 4 from 4 for many a day good effort to beat Kerry in the last frame to nail the draw.
Dangerous D'S & A P 8 Evolution 8.

Gr8te Balls of Fire keep falling in but are = 2nd and against an understrength Far Cue it was no different. They cruised to 6-2 but went down 5-3 in the last half. I got there late to see Scotty win again (never lost with me in the crowd hmm) and in the last frame a superb out by Leama against Paulie Bacon end the night on a positive for Far Cue. Noel Wynne was suprb with 3 from 4. Jude and Rob also got trebles on the night.
Gr8te Balls of Fire 9 Far Cue 7

Pete and his Super Eight boys have put themselves in line to step into the top 8 after taking out the improving Bruns Boys in great style. Peter Raus was best for Bruns Boys was best with a double. No one got 4 from 4 for Super 8's but it was a great team effort with Pete, James and Dina chipping in with trebles Brownie not far behind with a double,
Super Eights 11 Bruns boys 5.

When I left Calypso for the nights rounds Fisho's mob with Stacey Sheppard making a welcom debut were out on their feet down 4-7 against Snivelling Dogs but they swapped their fishing rods for pool cues and stormed back under pressure to pinch the last 5 frames an the points. Mark Robinson was best for the losers with 3 from 4. Yan and Stacey played hard for trebles and turned it all around for Gone Fishign in the end.
Gone Fishing 9 Snivelling Dogs 7.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Richard Bonnelley and Luke Kleem for great 4 from 4 efforts.

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Super Eights for a fighting win and putting themselves into top 8 contention.

NAME AND SHAME LIST: Still nil good stuff.
