The clash of the titans Dangerous D &P took on lindrum led by the great rusty wheeler.however rusty was thinking more about changing nappies than pool apparantly, because he only won 1 game. A surprise hero in Peter Hooker was unstoppable winning all of his 4. Captain dean chipped in with 3 and the boys gave Lindrum a flogging 11 - 5. Pedro failed to fire and didn,t trouble the scorers. A night to forget i suppose.
Unbeaten Crackers went on their merry way and disposed of an undermanned Snivelling dogs 11 - 5 with Annie having an outstanding night along with darren both unbeatan on 3 wins.Keep the good work up.
Evolution at the new and impressive venue of ivory tavern were too good for a valiant Rhythm & Cues winnig 10 - 6. Damo and Jack both consistant with 3 but the game was closer than the score suggests and many frames could have gone either way.
At the same venue another gripping match with Young Guns taking on Cellar Dwellers and it went down to the wire.Young Guns shot to a quick 5 nil lead and look the goods.But with an inspired comeback led by Brent Read we fought back to 8 -4 and then 8 -7 .However Justin Connor made a great out on the last frame to win a gripping match. Justin the best with 3 and well deserved winners on the night.
Happy Gilmores and Socialites both with 3 players fought it out with Gilmores too good 12 -4 . Adam and Ed leading from the front and won all their matches. well done.
Unsteady Eddies still undefeated and on top of the table were impressive again beating Far Cue 10 - 6. Shaun Brown with 4 and James 3 outstanding but i think Far Cue still have a hangover from last seasons final win and better pick up their act before its too late.
Finally the match of the round X Men against Great balls of FIRE. A close one in the end with Xmen prevailing 9 -7. Geoff was great again with 3 and captain Paulie Bacon brilliant again with 4 and Jude determined and unlucky were not good enough on the night. Though I think Rob Pleming should stop eating all the jam donuts at work because he got a big fat donut 0 lol. bo hoo.
